Strip Mall Partial Demolition

The brief: removal of three end tenancies (a former takeaway, hairdresser, and laundromat) from a 1980s strip mall. The four remaining tenancies — including a busy IGA — stayed open and trading throughout. The challenge: existing party walls had to be reinstated to fire-rated standard, internal services rerouted, and a temporary external hoarding installed to maintain customer flow. All noisy demolition staged to weekends and after 6pm weekdays. Centre management received zero tenant complaints across the 5-week window.
